Your authoritative source on what's going on in my world
It has occurred to me that some people out there actually care about the things I write. My opinions and views usually get me kicked off other forums. Clearly, the people who start such online forums aren't quite prepared for someone like me to come along and shake up the status quo. There really is only one solution: To start up my own forum for people looking for depth to their character, who are willing to question everything they believe in. I'm talking about people brave enough to wear a calculator watch in public in spite of the fashion faux pas it creates. People who prefer beer from their local micro-brewery over the big names advertised during all the big sports events. People who don't like to stand in line and steer well clear of the “Next Big Thing.” People who prefer the less crowed trailing edge. People who aren't too proud to pick up a penny. People who are themselves.
Yes, that's what it's all about. Being you. You are you and I am me. A lot of people want you to be like them; to feel envy and jealousy. Well, guess what? I have a life, I have my own beliefs (or a lack thereof), and I'm quite content and happy with it. If you're reading this, then I would suspect that you have also found happiness and contentment in yourself and who you really are.
This site is for you by me. Not much yet; just a basic web page. A web page with some links should come later. Maybe I won't be so cheap and register a domain name, and actually pay for some hosting. Perhaps I'll take the time to set up a real forum. Who knows; stranger things have happened. I am a bit odd; I'll splurge quite a bit of cash on some old useless computer junk from the 1980's, but I won't pay for cable. Maybe I'm not quite right. Some might think I'm a quirk. I think I'm just me.
